“Within Our Dreams”

As I sit here each and every day.
At times you glance my way.
I wonder do you really see.
The real true me.

Or is it just a thought of what could be.
And it is not even me you see.
You think of what you want so much.
And in reality my skin you have not even touch.

At times it all seems.
I’m lost within your dreams.
For it is only my voice you hear.
So far away yet so near.

At times in life we get bold.
And dream of the one we want to hold.
But then dreams are shattered.
And nothing seems to have mattered.

What we thought was there.
Seems we were not even aware.
For it so seems.
We live within our dreams.

nice write. I dream sometimes when i'm awake, i dream sometimes when i'm asleep, i dream sometimes even when i'm dreaming, but when i feel i'm not living the dream i remember somewhere there is someone that's dreaming to live my reality.
