Anyway...not cold feet I am feeling...just nervous as heck...in need of pointers to help calm me down.

Not sure what county she was in yet.. Like I said I will see what she has to say when she wakes up... I am trying to keep an open mind but I have my doubts..

I feel ya, i was suppose to meet someone from here i think i had an anxiety attack waiting, to bad i was stood up,      You too?? I had a date last night we are about two hrs. apart so we agree to meet in between.. I rented some rooms so we could stay in town... She called when she was on the way.. Then I never heard from her again last night... I guess these are the reasons guys are so surprised when I show up for a date..... Sorry to both of you. That's not nice....

I hope your gut instinct is wrong too ... but when I read 'her brother called' that cynical, jaded (been there myself) voice in my head chimed in 'her brother, huh?'  Like I said, I hope for your sake it was legit, cuz there's no excuse for her behaviour otherwise (WTH is wrong with people these days? )

Then I never heard from her again last night... No Dude, yor're Golden, because for the next meet make sure she pays. Dosent matter who it is. Just tell her what happended and that this time the girl pays. They will tell you to take a hike or show up.

You will be just fine. Just keep busy. And remember just be yourself. So what if you faint or barf, it will be a funny story to tell everyone later.

relax hon...its natural to be nervous ..you two have talked for quite awhile...when you meet him say hi and make a smartass remark that he will laugh at and the way he is, hell probably give one back....make sure he knows your worth it.

What if I barf, faint or cry or sumthin' What if I get lost trying to find the airport? What if the security guards see my trenchcoat and stilletos as a terroist disguise and open up on me!!!   Well look at it this way, since you've posted your worries, he'll at least be prepared. So if you barf, he'll have a bag, some tissue to wipe your nose, and a bottle of water to rinse your mouth out. And if you faint, well, that should only last for about 5 seconds, and then you'll be relaxed once you come too. Not to mention he'll be there to catch you if you fall. And as for the crying thing, well, you might as well count on that happening anyway. I mean seriously, you've been in love with the guy for 5 months and have not had the privilege of being able to touch him in any way. I'd say it's going to be a pretty emotional moment for both of you. The nerves are going to be there whether you want them to or not. It's just natural. Remember though, whatever happens, just know that the man you are meeting at the airport is the man that loves you with all his heart. And there's nothing embarrassing that you could say or do, that will make him love you any less. |
