According to the law of attraction, if you ask, it is given.

This means that if you think about something it is formed in the thinking stuff and begins to manifest into the matrix of your personal reality.

But the thinking stuff does not recognize negative affirmations and statements the way you might think. If you make a statement or prayer that you do not want something, the something you do not want will manifest. It is best then, not to think about what you do not want, and focus on thinking about what you do want.

If you state that something is "unbreakable" it will eventually break.

The Titanic was repeatedly called "unsinkable" and it sank.

Call a thing "indestructible" and minds will look for ways to destroy that thing.

Say that you will never do a thing, and you will eventually do it, especially if you keep telling yourself you will not do it.

Don't affirm to stop smoking, because you will focus on the thing you want to stop doing. Affirm to breathe pure air and live a healthy life.

Don't ask for a cure for your disease, visualize health overtaking any problems.

People think that the law of attraction does not work, only because most don't know how to ask for things with a positive visual picture.

I believe that the Titanic was actually the Olympic.

FACTS
The Olympic was damaged by the British navy and the Insurance company refused to pay on the policy. So the Olympic was redone to look exactly like the Titanic. When the Titanic was crossing the Atlanic, they hit an iceburg, which nobody expected. The Titanic was followed at a distance by a small merchant vessel, which had enough blankets and towels for everyone onboard the Titanic. This was very strange as they weren't being sold and the price of coal those days made ocean travel very expensive and was largely reserved for the very rich.

THE THEORY
The Titanic that was sank by the iceberg wasn't the Titanic, but the refited Olympic. The most common insurance scam in shipping is to refit a damaged ship to look like and undamaged ship and then sink it. The plan was to sink the Olympic (which everyone thought was the Titanic) and claim the insurance money. The merchant vessel would show up as the ship was sinking and rescue the passengers and crew. The wild card was the iceberg, which really was unexpected. The Titanic wasn't where the smaller ship was waiting, they seperated in the fog. The Titanic sank, while not far away, the merchant vessel waited with it's towels and blankets.

What happened to the Olympia (the Titanic if the theory is true)? It served as a passenger ship and crossed the Atlanic for 25 years without any issues. Kind of surprising for a ship so badly damaged that it wasn't expected to last more than a few years and the insurance companies refused to insure.

Wow, a conspiracy theory I have never heard.

I find that extremely interesting. I was watching the beginning of the movie the Titanic tonight and the woman in the movie actually compared the ship to the Olympic and described her impression of the ship as smelling of "fresh paint" (A hint perhaps of a new paint job?)

That was in the movie. I know some movies really give clues to hidden truths in reality. I don't know why unless someone is playing a game of "guess what the truth is.." with people.

Very interesting.

Didn't they find the Titantic? Or am I dreaming?

I thought they found it and were even talking about raising it from the bottom to put on display somewhere. But I don't remember how that went. Did they decide not to raise it as respect for the those who died or something. I swear I saw a program on TV once where they were diving and checking it out up close.

Was that all a dream?

I know that had to be a while back because I haven't watched TV in at least 5 years.

Yes they found it. But they did not decide to raise it as far as I know. It was broken in half.

I think the woman in the movie, as she looked at the ship mentioned that it did not seem any more impressive or longer than the Titanic. I think the Titanic was supposed to be longer.

Now that is a whopping conspiracy theory if that ship was really the Olympic.

Another important detail about the laws of attraction is gratefulness.
We need to be grateful with what we already have.

Examples of negative affirmations or negative self talk:

1. I'll never win the lottery.
2. I can't do it.
3. I can't afford that.
4. I'm so unorganized.
5. I'm so clumsy.
6. I never have enough money.
7. I don't have the time.
8. I look like crap.
9. I can't loose weight.

Examples of affirmations that don't work because of the negative wording of them.

1. I'm going to quit smoking.

(This will not work because it sends a picture of you smoking now... and quiting later. Later never comes, its always in the future.

A better affirmation is:

I do deep breathing exercises every day and I have a healthy set of lungs.

***************************

Here are some negative prayers or statements you may have heard from your parents:

1. You are going to poke someones eye out with that!
2. You will never amount to anything.
3. You are going to get hit by a car out there in the street.
4. You are going to get fat if you eat that.
5. You can't afford that.
6. You can't do that, it will never work.

I believe that Dr Robert Ballard, the man who found the Titanic, videod the Titanic, found the bell of the Titanic, brought up plates from the Titanic will wholeheartedly disagree with you.

If they were trying to make the Olympic into the Titanic with the plan to sink it and get the insurance, it only follows and makes sense that they would be smart enough to change the bell and the plates of the two ships. Duh! These people aren't stupid, and neither are the insurance companies.

Im all for conspiracy theories, and I love them, but in the early 1900s they had not found a way of checking the validity of the ship at 1.2km deep !!!!

While I tend to agree that its not difficult for insurance companies to catch on quite quickly nowadays, but 100 years ago?

It took 80 years for us to find it, get down there and video it.

The Olympic was the smaller one of the three ships
Titanic was the middle one and the Britannic was the heaviest one (amendments were made after the Titanic sank)

In August of 1991, Dr Robert Ballard brought back proof from the wrecked Titanic to prove that it was indeed the Titanic. All of White Star Line's ships have a special symbol and number punched on all of the steel. After examining the hull the explorers saw the unmistakable number that clearly identified it as the Titanic.

You could be right of course. Spider was the one who believes this conspiracy theory.

The reason I think that they would have switched the bells and the plates is that they had actually planed to sink the ship in a different place, perhaps one more shallow where they could dive and collect the booty from the ship and rescue the people. They may have also planned to salvage the remains of the ship and collect insurance. But the theory was that the ice burg hit the ship and it was sank in the wrong place.

But those are just ideas off the top of my conspiracy loving head. LOLlaugh laugh laugh

As I said, dispose of loads of bent twisted metal really quickly, blow up a 3rd building and start an illegal war & Im right next to you screaming "conspiracy!" & helping you burning your bra! laugh laugh (or is that something else?)

This one, I have met some of the crew on Ballard's treasure hunter, and as a small boy was fascinated by the story.

There was evidence to say that a fire was raging in the boiler room before she left the UK and this was also part of the conspiracy.

Her sister ship the Britannic was recently dived on by a bunch of yee-har divers from Europe, as she was sitting in 120m (370ft) of water in Greece. Ballard also found this and got some great video footage to determine what sunk her.

I also know some of the yee-har boys who did this ... its an amazing trilogy of White Star's history.

Love it!!!

The Olympic was only smaller in weight, the actual dimensions of the ships were identical. The Olympic was repaired using parts from the Titanic.

The Olympic was received well, but on 20th September 1911 she was involved in a collision with cruiser HMS Hawke. After limping back to Belfast she was repaired using components from her sister (Titanic) then under construction.

The end result would have been a ship that looked liked the Titanic in every way.

I would appreciate if you could point me to any information about the proof found by Dr Ballard.
