I won't get into details...I don't know what I can say that won't get me in trouble. I was planning on going to my co-worker's house after work to watch a movie. Let's call her "A". After work, I was waiting for my friend, calling her "B", to finish cleaning her section at work when she told me something disturbing. She told me that "A" was planning on drugging my drink just for fun. If "B" didn't over hear this plan, I would have been over at "A's" house right now. That shook me up. I would tell you more on why "A" was going to do this...but you can ask me personally later.

I hope it was fine to put this here...if not sorry. And sorry for long post. It's late...I know.

I will...I know how "A" is. I just didn't think she would do that to me. She knows my lifestyle. The worst part was that the guys were planning on coming over to watch too.

It sounds like excessive drama. I would be irritated with all of these people and seek other friends that won’t either threaten to drug my cocktails, nor actually do it, nor pretend to know about, or pretend to do it. It’s too much crap to deal with.

I know. "B" and I are going to leave as soon as we land another job. It is respectful to give a two weeks notice...but can I really last that long?

I don’t see why not. The plot was foiled. You know what was intended to happen. It sounds to me like it may have been idle threats or supossed to frighten you. Who knows? I can’t say that for certain. Get away from this situation as soon as you can. You should still give two weeks notice however because that can/will effect your ability to get a new job. When they call to check your reference, your current employer will say, yep, she walked right on out of here and they will think twice about you as a new hire.

I am sorry this happened to you. You seem like a kind, sincere person and you don't deserve to have people use you for their own amusement.

I hope you find a new job soon and end up working with a better class of people.

And hold on to B!
