To me she was an evil wench trying to take my bestfriend from me for no good reason except that I have a vagina. He and I are still friends and shes off now ruining someone elses life now.

I would choose my friend.... just saying.

This happened to me. My ex huisband didn't like any of my friends. I chose my ex over the friends and after 12 yrs of marriage when I decided to leave those friends were right there to support me every way they could. This is what I ment by friends are there forever.flowerforyou

Do you ever think if you had chosen your friends that you wouldn't have wasted those 12 years with him?

What if your significant other starts some conflict with a good friend just to see whose side you will be on? Have you ever felt like you were just a pawn between them and it is really none of your business but they both just brought you into the middle of it? Have you found it hard to be a peacemaker when nobody but you really wants peace and everybody around you seems to thrive on conflict?

I personally don't think you should have to make a choice....one of two things are happening here...

1. you have a good thing going with SO...if that's the case, your friend will be supportive...

2. Your SO is a douche bag, and your friend is only trying to protect you....

either way, you can either have the time with each of them be seperate, or figure out what the problem is, and try to resolve it....

I choose my friends very carefully and know they would have my best interest at heart. Sometimes in a relationship we are blinded and need outside help to see that someone isn't right for us.

I think its very interesting that most said SO right off the bat no questions asked.

some people just don't like to accept defeat...or however you want to put it.
I just know that weather I wanted to hear it at the time or not, if any of my friends (close or otherwise) have said someone wasn't right for me...and I didn't listen, I regreted it later.
At least if you get out while it's still civil there is a chance to salvage some sort of friendship...if that's what you want.

I've got two good friends, and they don't see eye to eye. Regardless of differences, the three of us are respectful of each other's choices in the love category. We do not intrude. We each know that when a pal is paired up, then that's that, and we are friends to the couple.
