Actually have several items that belonged to my Mom and Grandmother and my Grandfather on my Dad's side as well as a few from my Dad.
The most favorite one is an old cast iron Bean Pot that my Dad had it actually belonged to his Grandmother. My Brother and I pass the Bean Pot back and forth each Christmas and fill the inside with Corn bread Mixes and Beans we keep it for the year and at X-mas and exchange it as our gift. Then of course I have a large Sea Shell that my Dad gave to my Mom while she was alive. I still have it and it is over 50 years old now that I know of no telling how old it really is. |
