Sorry all......I was writing a reply to this last post and "BLOOP"....the electricity went out to the entire southern end of this parish(county to the rest of the world). So it's been off for 3 hours!!!!

My Ex finally got on some hormones,after I had been out of the house, too late now. I had asked her yrs ago to do this, but NOOOOOOOOOOO....

I had a hysterectomy when I was 21 and started on HRT right away. I noticed a few changes, nothing major. Was on HRT for 11 years and doctor took me off for a year for medical reasons, whew
 big mistake
I begged him to put me back on. Never lost my sex drive, hollered because husband was an ass and i didn't clean up after him because he was a grown man and I was the one working not him. So not all women who go through this have the same things go wrong.

Some women who have had a hyster. have no 'side effects' per se. Like bad_girl is implying~ Every person is different. |

What is your wife had a complete hysteroctomy and then went on hormone therapy at 34......then she came off hormones after about a year......Then she started changing....no interest in sex......turned into an argumentative, judgemental person that was never happy about ANYTHING!!! Constantly complained about every day life in general and neglected husband and kids at every opportunity..... How could you make life better?????? hormone therapy may not be the problem she may feel undesirable and that will make you lose interest in sex. Sounds like more may be going on with her. Have you tried getting away for the weekend, just the 2 of you. She may be more inclined to talk if she were somewhere that she didn't have to feel like just a wife and mom. Hope things work out for you. |
