to me it's that everlasting torment of something i've done wrong, or
when you can feel someone's heart break right in front of you so you
reach down as low as they are to help them up the steps because her
sorry ass boyfriend just dumped her and dropped her off at ur front
door. or it's that big ass knot in ur throat when u cry it feels like ur
heart is litteraly being ripped out. or it's when u've sacrificed ur
body to save someone else from that fate, or it's when u've done
everything possible to fit in and all of ur family still beats the shit
out of you then takes ur kids and sends you to jail like it was all ur
fault. and to this day they still blame me. and then again the pain is
nothing and it's all in ur head and only because ur a heartless bastard!
reply: tell me what hurts you.

Intellectual conversation usually starts with an intellectually
stimulating question or observation. Take these: Why do you think
America bashing is the favorite pastime of most third world politicians?
Is American foreign policy humane? Should all lawyers be crucified? Let
the conversation begin...

i think my my ? was to stimulating and to the point, but to answer u,
this this about converstion not a debate, but i will give u my input on
ur ?'s...1)it's not only the third world politicans, it's others, that's
even including ourselfs that bash our politics and economity, our own
beliefs do i need to go on?
2)what policy is ever humane? u've always got ppl out there that trys or
like to think that they are doing a good job to help someone, what if
they don't want ur help! leave them alone and let them be themselves!
take for instance, we send food and whatnot to all of those thats over
there starving themselves to death, where do they live? in the middle of
a freaking desert! just my opinion, if u really wanted to help them get
them out of the desert, where there's some grass or something with good
soil to plant crops. i mean it all just kinda defeats the purpose
doesn't it?
3)no, lawyers shouldn't be crucified, that's just another topic on many
of the discussions here dealing with taking blame for ur own actions.
did this do it for you?

i think that americas foreign policy is very humane. the bashing comes
in because they don't agree with how it is carried out. america is
always looked towasrds when there is a crises and people ask us for help
but then when we get there and everything doesn't go as smoothly as it
was planned they turn their ire towards us. the united states also has a
problem getting involved in issues that they really should stay out of.
i'm all for helping people in need but it has gotten to a point where i
don't think we should help the rest of the world with their problems any
more because it is never appreciated and they are never there for us. we
have our own problems over here and i think they should be our main
focus.

What do you call a hundred Lawyers at the bottom of the ocean?

I think we all know the answer to that one.

As far as our foreign policy goes. We can't stay out of other world
affairs because that would be isolationism. If we do that then who knows
what will happen over there. Get my point?

Talk about not learning from history. we didn't want to get involved in
European affairs after WW I, and as a result we had to deal with WW II.
so but now if we get involved in other's affairs, we get conflicts like
Korea, Vietnam, Iran, El Salvador, Libya, Lebanon, Grenada, Nicaraguan,
Panama, the 1st Persian Gulf War, Somalia, Bosnia/Yugoslavia/Kosovo, on
up to today. What would have happened if we stayed out of these? No one
truly knows for sure. I think we did what we thought was necessary at
the time. we all ways say in retrospect: Oh we shouldn't have done that.
But in reality we did. So now we need to go from there and hope we make
the right decisions for the better in years to come.

you made a good point ghostrecon but WWI and WWII were different wars
than the last ones you mentioned. most of the last ones were not our
problem and it would not have affected us in a negative way except for
drawing the ire of certain countries who always get mad at the US when
we don't show up to help right away but then when we get there they get
mad at US because we're there and all of a sudden we are meddling again.
i don't have a problem helping countries in need but we are always the
bad guy even when we help. i think we should stay out of countries and
let them fight. occassionally it will be turned toward us but it usually
isn't.
they have politicians to handle disruptions in other countries and i
don't think that going to war with them when they aren't a threat to us
is the answer. there are tons of countries who let them fight it out and
they aren't looked at as bad as the US in the eyes of the world.
we are going to be headed to iran next because of our involvement in
iraq. we went to afghanistan for a purpose and when we went to iraq, it
gave the middle eastern nations a reason to unite against us because
they know iraq didn't have anything to do with what we were looking for.
our troops are going to be stretched even thinner than they are now and
the equipment is in shambles and it's a situation that they never should
have had to deal with.
