although I agree that 1) a week is a relatively small investment and 2) there are not too many ties at that stage; I also feel that if a person is trying to commit to you and see who you are, they should take the time and find out, not hit the next warm bed in line. If a person is trying to woo you and sleep around at the same time, although there is debate as to whether it is cheating, something that seems universal so far is that it is decidedly in bad taste, and the action can possibly be repeated later down the line. It also depends on what type of discussion the two of you were involved in and what level he felt for you as well... Personally although you cannot define it as infidelity, I would not tolerate it.

If a guy/girl cheated on you after just a week of dating (you really like him/her and have been waiting for this for so long!) would you forgive them? Hell...no. You expect total devotion after one week? Wow. Not total devotion... But if they date me one day, and sleep with some anonymous person the next, they can forget about a second date. If we've just begun dating, and they're still "experimenting," what are the chances they won't still be when things get supposedly serious?

I wouldn't consider that cheating but it would make me think that I wasn't the one for them and move on. If they are gonna bone someone else then what is the point in dating me????? I don't like to share.
