When you dine out, do you mainly order the same thing off the menu (safe dishes), or do you try out something different?(maby some funky stuff)

Every once in awhile I venture outta the norm and order something Ive never had but I generally stay with what I know is good...

If I go eat Chinese I only order Shrimp with Lobster sauce. Any other restaurant I go to I try different things

id feel bad cause im always telling my son to try new things too like at dinner when we have a different veggie or something he hasnt had before.

I like to try something that i normally wouldn't have a chance to eat at home....i like trying new things...

Well..I am a wannabe chef. Won't be going to school or anything, but I love to cook. When I dine out, I usually look at the menu and try to find something new to try out. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
