so according to mutual match I have a very attractive female (at least that's what her/his picture is), but she's listed as a male looking for a woman for dating... Should I let her know her mistake? If indeed it is a mistake? I mean if she is looking for a man she might run into a few difficulties on here.

a lot of people forget to change the "seeking" tab when they open a profile here...I would let them know

I think I had the same MM a couple of weeks ago and I emailed him and told him that he had a pic of a woman up on his profile....he never emailed me back.......??????????????

there are a couple of jokesters around that use pictures of women even though they are men...
