This is my point, Almost everyone said NO and why? Distance, it's time to face that facts people, hoping to find that one or maybe somthing close to it, is most likely not going to happen in your area for everyone one, well better said, Most. So stop using disance as an excuse to meet someone. Ok. But here's the problem. I live in a VERY small town. I am not willing to leave this small town because I have gotten 7 years into the place where I work. I am 38, and it's a little late for me to be starting over at a new job somewhere else. That, combined with the fact that I LIKE my job, is what will keep me here. Now....if there is a woman out there who is willing to take a chance on someone who lives in a town that is located at least 30 minutes away from anything to do...she should let me know...lol There is nothing wrong in meeting somone, I never said leav like i did  You know i'm going to keep bringing this topic up and i don't care how many of you i drive nuts This is the net and people are on here from all over the US and more. Your chances of finding somone in your area is most likey not going to happen. So get the distance thing out of your head because that is only going to make your hope just disappear...
But you originally asked if they would find someone " from their area ". In MY area, I highly doubt it. So my answer would have to be no. |

If I thought i'd find someone suitable around here, I wouldn't be on this site! I know that and so does everyone else, but everyone keeps saying. I'm interested in somone, but the distance facter, it will always come up and stop people from actually living life and just going out and having a good time if nothing else

I have found someone but not from this site and he lives 2 hours away and the weekends go way tooooooo fast. We rotate weekends so it is easier on one another but it is hard to leave him on Sunday night. Miss him so very much. Thank goodness for unlimited text messages and the Im's and of course the phone.

Just a guess but I'm thinking NOT. But I like talking to everyone close or not. 
Wish I still lived in Ga, I loved the alpharetta area, and was supposed to buy a house there... I'll still talk to you anyway.

lol, i can not find any one, but when i do they like too talk too me for a week an then just through me out like yesterdays garbage. i think being friends frist and trying too get too know each other is a good thing. Good for you! This may be a time of compromise & even sacrafice, but isn't that part of a long term committed relationship anyway? Evently you will either decide it's not worth it, in which case you are not meant to be together, OR you will find a way to be together all the time!

I would say anywhere between MA to MD, Massachuttes to Maryland. 1700 miles you have to get on a plane to. It would not have worked. I would say that about 4 hours would be my limit. |

I prefer the US within half a days drive to the ocean, but for the right man, If it's a place that I can make a living & not freeze my tailfeathers off most of the year, I am willing to compromise.

I would say go meet somone you just met, but whats wrong in doing so after getting to know them for sometime
