Topic: Most Important Trait In A Woman | |
---|---|
Basically you are saying OVER CONFIDENCE is not attractive right? Everyone should be confident in who they are I believe Frisco is trying to say that some people put on a show of confidence when they do not really have it. Example: wearing clothes that are too tight to get attention. Yes, I think he's confusing that with self confidence. I think he is just not articulating himself properly. |

It's about my view of their self confidence. If I think that their self confidence is unwarranted, I will find them less attractive. By the same token, if I think their self confidence is accurate, I will find them more attractive. Does that make sense? |

I think you saying that certain people should not be confident is making you sound a bit arrogant. But, everyone is entitled to their opinion, I guess. |

A woman who is maybe, oh let's say a gold digger and is self confident about it would have unwarranted self confidence in your opinion? |

The entire point was what does a man find attractive. By definition, it is about the man's perspective, what he sees, what he thinks, how he judges. Therefore, it all comes back to how that man interprets what he is judging, in this case, it is the woman and her self confidence.
It's not arrogance, it is basic interpersonal psychology. |

So you are saying that men have no right to judge women? Is that what you are upset about?

I think it's interesting how a question for the men gets more feedback from the women.......

Good point, we answer then get our heads chewed off for doing so honestly and without malice.

It does make one wonder who has more of an axe to grind.

This question is FOR MEN ONLY. Women can comment but I want the guys to answer with their preference. What is the most important personality trait that makes a woman "relationship material"? 1) A sense of loyalty 2) A sense of caring/nurturing 3) A sense of humor 4) Intelligence 5) Other Your list is good...along with caring/nurturing I would say 1) Kindness/Friendliness--don't really need to say more 2) A Good Communicator & Conversationalist--we can talk about most anything & there aren't too many of those long silent pauses 3) Easy-Going/Unpretentious--meaning I don't need to impress, nor does she 4) Intelligence/Common Sense---Book smart is one thing, understanding how the world operates & making good decisions is even more important....and of course knowing what really is important in life.... 5) Girly/Feminine---I'm definitely attracted to women who spend some time making themselves look nice for a date...you can see it in their appearance & it tells me something about them...it can be something simple such as they way they dress or maybe getting their nails done.... |

Sense of humor...witty, dry whatever...just be able to laugh at yourself and find humor in this short journey we are all on.
Intelligence would be a close second. I'm a deep person and need to connect with a woman on an intensely intellectual level and share in a mutal discourse of ideas and values. I'm not a shallow person, so looks aren't even on the radar for me. Third would be a great rack, nice legs and plump lips... see sense of humor above |

I think these men answered what they thought was the right answer and not how they truly feel. Ya think? |
