I always cry at church  Me too , everytime  It is becasue we are feeling the Presence of the Holy Spirit moving. I believe we all will weeep , when we stand before God one day....just because of His Great Awesomeness.

I have always wondered (and this is from a serious place, and not my usual bashing gene)
Why do you need ot go to church to worship your god? Being serious. If god is everywhere, why do you need to attend church? The muslims make a prayer 5 times a day and they will stop in the street, put their musallah down and pray by the road side. I would like an answer that doesnt have pages of scripture quoted, if no one minds. Thanks |

Crying is good! It releases emotions that were building up inside you perhaps.
It is a good thing to do. I cry in a church also when I went, but not because of the songs, it just seems so damn depressing for me. go to a black church and you will have fun. I have done that in LA once! Now that is fun. You dance, scream and hollar. I felt like I was at a football game or something. Don't mind me sunnymcleod. I am non religious spiritual and just give you the opinion if you have to cry then cry. Nothing wrong with that.

yeah, but I hate when people bash Christianity. yet it is a great crime for us to do the same. I don't like that double standard. It's wrong to bash an other's religion, regardless of what they believe. It's just good manners. The fact that you don't do that shows that you were raised right, have good character or a combination of the two. I agree with you spider, just thought this column needed some light thought...Then someone gets snotty. Like I said, don't mind him. You can't change people like that. No, you can't change some people. Anyways, thanks for sharing. I'm excited that the season finale for Dr Who is going to be on BBC America over the next two weeks. I will probably cry when the season is over. Please continue to cry : it shows your strength and wisdom . Anyone who cries at words of imagination needs a psychiatrist right now .  .

Spider....there is no commandment to attend church.
Some shut in's for instance, can't attend church, due to health reasons. Thank God for christian tv for them, or christian radio. But even though the bible does not command church attendance, the bible still says to forsake not the assembly of beleivers......mainly because it is for the christian's benefit, to attend church regularly( the the assembly together with other believers). |
