Spider....there is no commandment to attend church. Some shut in's for instance, can't attend church, due to health reasons. Thank God for christian tv for them, or christian radio. But even though the bible does not command church attendance, the bible still says to forsake not the assembly of beleivers......mainly because it is for the christian's benefit, to attend church regularly( the the assembly together with other believers).  I know that, believe me. I can't attend church right now, but when I can, I will. You don't have to attend church to be a Christian, that was my point. I wasn't saying it wasn't a good idea, just that it isn't necessary to be saved. |

It's in the Bible, Christians are encouraged to gather with other believers. to gather with others that are mis-informed and then spread that mis-information is called gossip not the gospel .. I choose not to, because my life is too complicated right now. There is no conspiracy. It's the fact that I screwed up my life and I need to get it straight. Nothing more to it. Like I said, don't read more into it than what I wrote. I think if you carefully read what you are replying to, it would save us all a bit of trouble. "Spidercmb"..I thought all you have to do is give your problems to Jesus ..I guess that doesn't work in the real world I give my worries to Jesus, the problems still exist. then give your problems to Jesus ...unless you doubt that Jesus can show you the way .. |
