I don't think it's always like that. I did the majority of the shopping in my last relationship and he hated going into stores at all. So if he needed something he'd usually just ask me to pick him up a couple of shirts or whatever. I had a pretty good feel for what HE likes and if he didn't like something I would just return it on the next trip. I don't consider that dressing him.

When I knew he was going to Home Depot I might ask him to pick me up something too. He does not dress me either. If it doesn't look stunning in my tool belt...he will have to return it as well.
