Do you think that this section has had its fill of the same topics time after time?

We have them that do, and them that dont.

Them that do, do, and them that dont, dont and the dos dont do dont-ing and the donts dont do doing.

But its a never ending cycle of doing and donting and the occasional handbags-at-dawn showdown.

Ultimately, the donts wont, cant or dont, and the dos will, can and do.

Nothing will change this, unless a dont comes up with irrefutable evidence of a higher do, or vice versa .. but then would, could or should the dos or the donts say so?

Facts, opinions and conjecture ...

Its all getting very tiring ...

To do is to be (Socrates).
To be is to do (Plato).
Do be do be do. (Sinatra).

Do unto others before they do unto you. And unto those who do, remember to be true. For before you have a clue, you must wear the other's shoe, and shake your tush behind a bush cuz we know that it's taboo. And if you have religion be sure it's not askew for if there is a heaven you'll want it to be due. So smuggle all the pizza and guzzle all the brew. When your earthly life is over you'll have to bid this world adieu.

laugh Wow this is my favorite post on the religous forum thus far!laugh laugh

To say and to do. Well that is the question?

I know I can't do many things that I wish I can do, but others do and can do but wish they do other things instead. So I just be happy with the things I can do as others wish they can do what I do. In the long run be happy you can do many things others can't do for we do what we must do to.

This is fun!laugh

See!! Who said atheism couldnt be fun!!!

But .. whooooaaaa there Neddy!!!! [cue screeching horse brakes]

There is a serious point here.

Do you not think we are all going around in a big circle?

Do you not think we have debated the christian view to death (crucified it, no less)

So, carry on doing your doing, and dont stop donting your dont, because ultimately those who do will do do it and those who dont will poo-poo it

Well I actually think it is much more logical and entertaining to see religion in a historical viewpoint then as in a faith base. Of course many will disagree with me on this and I am not surprised, yet fortunately there are some who can relate to my viewpoints.

I personally would have wanted to talk more about the different Mythologies the world had or even other religous viewpoints, such as pagan, wiccan, buddhism, taoists, hinduism, or even voodoo!

so in the long run yes Mediterrenean Mythologies are usually the most talked about religious subject here in the United States for the majority are of this belief system.

In order for me to talk about other religous prospects, I would have to go to a different site for that.

Yes. You have no chance of getting any sort of balanced view on this site

Boredom. That's why god created such a free-for-all world.

Think about it. Think about a perfect heaven. No problems to solve, nothing to create. Nothing to actually do.

Sure, you can lounge around in your beautiful castle with marble walls, waterfalls, perfect weather, perfect people, no hunger, no pain, no conflict. Just wonderful things, and lovely people. Imagine 50 thousand years of that.

And that is just a drop in the bucked compared to infinity, or eternity.

Boredom. That's why god created many different worlds of weirdness and challenge. That's were we go for fun.

Earth. The greatest vacation of adventure, drama, life and death! Step right up folks and forfeit your knowledge of who you are and where you came from and come play the earth game.

That's how they convince most individuals to come here, but that's not why I came.. well sort of, but I came to check out end game.

So, have we found a new topic that we can beat senseless?

Probably not.

We could try,

When god created man, she was only joking

or

why do women get married in white? (p.s. it is so the dress matches the kitchen appliances - washing machine, dishwasher, etc)

Is this a new topic?

Something we have not debated before?

I think not ... I would get out my book of Atheism and start quoting why I think you are wrong, you would quote more stuff from a fairy book and we would go backwards and forwards until one of us gave up

tsk tsk tsk and Spider claims there were many witnesses to seeing Jesus and he and everyone else claims that Jesus is God so this above statement seems to contradict others.

That is not how I picture her. She will be a humanoid with white bat wings and a tail. She is a draconian princess. Her color is white. She represents the white dragon sect that comes to dispose the red dragon on earth. She represents her mother, the draconian queen who rules the milky way galaxy.

I should paint a picture of her! That will be my next artistic project. She will look fabulous with red blood dripping from her lips and a dead human child in her arms. She is a vicious predator of humans.

Yes that may even save your life if you approximately have what she may look like as a painting. As a gift you give that to her when she arrives and your life is spared! You never know right!

Of course the dragon I have is black for the fantasy card game coming up. It is a death dragon so it looks totally opposite then how you describe it.

Which to think of it, I am going back to research more about the different civilizations who have worshipped dragons (religously). I may find out more ideas out of personal interest.

Have a great week Jeannie and keep up the great work on the knowledge you share. It is educational indeed.flowerforyou
