My Siberian brought a kitty home in her mouth

He was the only survivor of a litter of 5

I took the kitty to the vet,,he was only 2 weeks old,,and told them to put him up for adoption if he survived

Kashja would not eat, sleep or go out for 2 days

I brought the dog to the vets,,while there she "visited" the kitty.

When we got home, she wolfed a whole bowl of food

i got the message

The kitty's name is Bearflowerforyou

I was gone 4 days on a conference. I didn't have anyone check on the cat... cause it was only 4 days... and I gave her plenty of food and water (plus she drinks out of the toliet too, I know its gross) Anyways... when I got home last nite... I could hear her meowing for me down the hall... and last nite she drove me crazy by bothering me and wanting me to pet and play with her. I think that she really missed me and my son...

so what are your thoughts on pets and feelings/emotions?

Dogs are most known to become highly attached to their owner, cats are far more independant. Usually it is dependant on how much time a person spends with the dog, dogs are always loyal...owners however are not.

Aside from that they feel physical pain as well, but I do believe they can feel some extent of emotional but not as much as a person can feel.

Yes. Just like people. You think they just chew/pee on stuff at random?

yes they do. I went on vacation for a week and had a friend stop in to check on them. When I got home they were all over me as soon as my car pulled into the driveway.

My dog adores my former roommate, we visit him often. Once we visited while his brother was staying there & sleeping in my friends bed with his female boxer. My Olive jumped on the bed, sniffed & sqatted to pee while staring me straight in the eye! Her expression clearly said "He has had another b itc h in his bed!" She would not even look at him for a day!

Cats and dogs suffer from depression (that is factual) if left unattended or there is a big change in their routine. Signs to watch out for include, lack of appetite but the real give away with cats is if they stop cleaning themselves.

Yes all animals have feelings including our amphibian friends!!

I absolutely believe they do.

I have lived alone, except for my dog and my creepy cat, for quite a while.

I go to work for 8 hours, and Jake ( my dog ) is the happiest dog in the world when I come home. Mongo ( my creepy cat ) comes up and lets me know that I shouldn't leave again.

Amazing what a pet can tell you if you are paying attention, isn't it??
