Well there is sometimes the need to use the art of being MUTE...not lying...but not participating in something unpleasant and harmful. If his wife had of asked me, "Angel, is D--- cybering with a woman online?" then I could have said, "I am not sure"....cos in all reality...could have been a man HA!

That is always a tough call. Obviously you knew more about them and their relationship. Think you did the right thing. Sometime when someone is aware that a mutual friend is on to them they straighten up and fly right.

She was honest just didn't put herself in the middle. |

Personally I think it's sad that most people are agreeing saying you "did the right thing." Would you want to stay with a husband for 20 yrs only to find out that a friend knew all along that he was cheating and didn't tell you?
Not telling your friend helped him cheat every day that nothing was said... how can one consider themselves a friend to the wife? Better yet, how can that be considered "the right thing?" I stick by my answer in ratting the pig out. I don't care to help people do rotten things, and cheating is ROTTEN. |
