Topic: No Pics for Work Reasons ?

I was talking to someone a while back who said in there profile because of there job they could not post a picture but would send one . I've encountered this a few time before but usually it's someone with a high profile job that doesn't want it out that there on an internet dating site . That is understandable . The guy I talked to recently agreed to email me a pic .... so I was waiting for the pics to come through my email box thinking this is probably some important guy .... good job . When I opened the pictures I found a Wal-Mart employee ... he was wearing his smock . I thought it was a little comical . Did Wal-Mart pass a new rule that employees aren't allowed to date ..... What reason would someone really have to not post a picture because of work ?

Maybe he was a greeter and didn't want to be recognized!

I think it would be a stalking fear.As we all know,There are more people going through Wal-Mart that people could ever think.You could be stalked and never even know it untill to late. First guess would be married though. j/m/o

well.. i just left walmart.. and to the best of my knowledge.. not a policy... only exception would be if it were an old picture and now he works for loss prevention... that would be a job where you wouldnt want a pict to have access.... but if he was wearing a smock it is an old pict.. unless you are in canada..

If I worked somewhere that was so easy to find...I would just not mention that I worked there unless I felt secure with the person I was talking to. I would certainly not post a pic AND announce where I work. Knowing the town I lived in, it would not take long for anyone to find me. I don't mind stalkers here, but don't want one following me home for sure!

People like that need to get over themselves! I just tell them no! I don't need them sending anything to my personal Email address. For one your opening a attachment into your putor.. There is enough open honest guys on here you don't need to waste your time & take that chance.

CIA, FBI, high security government job...there are a few occupations that would require someone not to put up a picture...but then again why the hell would they be on a dating site...unless they are after me...
