Company lay-offs. Chrysler just shut down part of its plant here because people aren't buying the cars. They let over 2,000 go. Construction workers have less work. Homes are in foreclosure.

Gas prices and food prices have increased terribly. Air travel costs are high. Utility prices have increased. Even the hospital where my brother works has stopped all over-time. He's in KY, btw. Anheuser Busch sold out here. If they didn't, they would have laying people off anyway.
