since my mom passed away. does the pain ever go away? my heart feels like its breaking all over again. I miss her so much! I just really need to get threw tomorrow and i am not sure how. This poem is for her.
"Farewell, Dear Mother"

Somewhere in my heart,

Beneath all of this pain,

Is a smile I still wear...

At the sound of your name
The precious word is "MOTHER"

She was my world, you see,

But now my heart is breaking,

She's no longer here with me.

God chose her for His angel

To watch me from above,

To guide me and advise me

And know that I'm still loved.
The day she had to leave me,

Her life on earth was through,

But God had better plans for her

For this, I surely knew
When I think of her kind heart

And all those loving years,

Because we're only human,

They're bound to bring us tears

She truly was my best friend,

Someone I could confide in,

She always had a tender touch,

A soft and gentle grin
I want to thank you Mother

For teaching me so well,

Even though the time has come,

That I must bid you farewell
I'll remember all you've taught me

To put God above all others...

For I had no better teacher,

im so sorry for you loss. its been 20yrs since my mother passed. it does get easier to deal with dear.

It will be 5 for me does it get easier I think at times it is but other times the need of seeing her is over whelming

How sweet! I was just thinking today that it's been almost 2 years since my Mom went, and I don't understand how the time has flown by. It feels like YESTERDAY, like they say!! And, I'm still perplexed and dumbfounded how she went so fast!! She was like the Bionic Woman with all those parts and drugs, thought she'd wear ME out and she'd outlive ME!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. My mom passed away 13 years ago. The first year was the hardes, but you will make it through. Just think of all the good times you had together. There are still times I want to share funny and exciting things with my mom, and in my own way, I do.

lost my son, my mom and my dad, all in a three year period, that was tough, but it's been five years now since the last, so it gets easyer.

tis not through any lapse of time
that thine heart will not be
connected

the nurturer goes forth and clears
a path
as before
and when the child smiles in the knowingness

so be thy nurturer..and smiles back
and continues the work of welcoming

a mother can never leave your heart, it's where she can hug you, even now.
