in your life that had a drug addiction or a eating disorder and they were out of control and you could see them dying in front of you. Would you do an intervention to save their life? NO, I do not have any of this in my family or close friends. I was just thinking about this, we were talking about this at work today.

I would hope that I would intervene and force professional assistance on the person if it got to become a matter of life and death.

I would do an intervention, and I would hope the same would be done for me is I had a problem.

i know alot of people that have a forum addiction people find a higher power and follow the 12 step program. im still fighting this disease.

if it is a serious matter then you should definitely seek professional help...but i would begin by talking to them and telling them how it is and hopefully they will kick the habit

I did intervene.When i was about 16/17,i caught my sister making herself sick after dinner 1 evening.Turned out she had been doing it for a while,so after having a talk and getting all the details of how long it was goin on i passed it on to my parents who got her sorted out

I have lived through it..You can't make someone get help..They have to want it...No matter what you do...If they are not ready for the help, it will not work...I would never turn my back on them, but you can't force someone to get help.....
