This Too Shall Pass

that passes
I have
no understanding
for circumstances
fill
trance
a transient
willing to abide
yet
a knowing
that i am just
a sojourner
waiting for home
my home
used to be
I think
I
used to be
still they
see our home
and I cannot
find their shoes
again
still
this peace
that passes all understanding
perhaps
there is no need
of shoes

maybe i'm stupid or something, but i just don't understand your writting.

it's about confusion and the need for simplicaty...at least that's how i see it

There is a Bible verse that starts out.."And the peace of God shall keep your hearts and minds..." Life is confusing. Many times I have not felt peace. Circumstances revealed hard to my life. I was stability in a place for my family, that was, to say the least, so difficult. Since my husband died, I am alone, my children are living their lives and I remember..remember when a tornado was ripping through our mobile home park and I could not find their shoes. We sang and cried through the tornado in the center of our home..in the bath tub..the same tub they later cooled their heated little bodies in, for we had no A/C. My expressions vary with mood and memory. I unfold deeply and sometimes simply. Although I usually come across nice, and beautiful..sometimes you could dig a bit deeper. I love poetry, expression..It is relative to each heart that searches. Thank you for responding and interacting. It makes this wonderfully energetic for me.
