Since you brought up this topic: from a man's point of view, what do you guys consider a few extra pounds? And is it ok for a guy to pack a few extra and not a woman, or what? Just curious. The first step is always to be ok in your own skin, whatever that may be. And, besides, in my OWN mind, I am a supermodel!!!!!

These women on here who say they weigh "a few extra pounds"..... and are the same diameter as a small town water tower? hmmmmm.
Just out of curiousity, whould you call that "water retention"?

Okay I weigh 185lbs believe it or not, and I think I am fit and look good. I could probably afford to lose about 5-10lbs, but it wouldn't make a significant difference. IF anything, I would probably look less manly.

Now if a woman weighed as much as I do, I promise you, she would look so much bigger than me. It would be like comparing a pen to a toilet paper roll.

So it isn't in pounds, but mass.....

To answer the question about women packing extra, what about men.

a few xtra pounds to me would mean still hot looking but a little "thick".... or "pleasantly plump".

Ain't that the truth. I joined today and every match I was sent looked like a tank or a small country yet they describe themselves as average or a few extra .
When it takes atruckstop scale to weigh you. That is more than a few extra pounds. I saw one that her arm weighed more then I ever will and she said average

For me, a few extra pounds is less than 10 pounds overweight. I'd like to see further classification though. Like "several extra pounds" might be 10 to 20 pounds over. "Many extra pounds" could be 20 to 30 pounds over. "Lots of extra pounds" could be 30 to 40 pounds over. More than 40 pounds over could be just called "humongous"!

the best part is they are picky!!

ok... does this mean cuz i pack on a few more pounds than I really want... I dont have a right to be picky about who I allow in my life??? I should settle for anything that will look in my direction?????

I say careful before tossing stones... as we arent all as lean as we might want to make ourselves out to be!!!!

First off, taht would be like me saying I'm average & it clearly states that I'm not!! nor would I lie about it!! 2nd I would never try to go after someone who is out of my league, so to speak!! So pick your battles carefully.

Some tend to judge a book by it's cover, while others open it and start reading to discover the book is very different from it's cover. Read into this comment what you will and drop the few extra LASHINGS being offered out.
