I'd rather be blinded. At least I could still hear music and the other beautiful sounds of the world. I can type without looking...lol, so that'd be no problem. I know all the buttons on my phone without looking, and I know my way around my house in the dark. I could manage just fine blind. Matter of fact, the world might be better off if we were all blind.

I'd have to say paralyzed. I'm a car guy and R/C racer; handicap cars are out there, and infact there's a guy in my area by the name of Ray "The Cowboy" Lotter who's confined to a wheelchair but can drive an R/C truck just as fast as anyone else. Plus, he's got the ultimate excuse to get out of corner marshalling

Biggest thing is, human beings learn to adapt. I gotta admit though, losing my sight & having to give up on being able to drive & race, not to mention I'd almost certainly lose my job...no wait, my career...as a CAD drafter would be VERY traumatic.

Wow...looking back at writing that, people ask me why I choose to wear glasses all the time. I'm not comfortable with the idea of contacts, but getting LASIK sounds appealing to me...or at least it did until I wrote that and thought of some of the horror stories of eye surgery. Boy, If I get LASIK done, I'm not taking AAAAANY chances when finding a surgeon.
