Is It Me???

You know, when you look at someone's profile
And you don't even acknowledge,
Are you looking for something specific
Maybe if they had some college?
Or if they have what you're looking for
Do they match up to you?
Should they meet your expectations
In things you want to do?

What I find most annoying
When someone has viewed mine,
Not one single hello
Even comes to mind.
So that tells me
The picture's are not appealing,
Or is it something that I've said
That may be too revealing?

There is something called kindness
Some things lack respect,
But in this world of dating
You might as well expect.
Take things with a lump of coal
And just swallow your pride,
You know you're number one
You have nothing to hide.

Robert, it's not you. You know in this society it's click, click, click-information coming fast. People may not have the time, or they're bored or not serious, just looking. Who knows? You know your value. We can't have everyone think we're all that and a bag of chips, even if we are.

When it's right and both parties are ready, it will happen. There's a lucky someone out there for you. BELIEVE.

I agree with pkd; hang in there friend. Don't put it on yourself....the world of internet dating is a whole world in and of itself....Yet, as in the real world, no one is obligated to say or do a thing simply because they look at someone.

Ditto on BELIEVE...You know your value, and that's what's most important.

Like it as always, very cute and appropriate.

Well I look because I have more curiosity than
the preverbial cat.

But oftentimes it is because I like to know a bit about the person I might want to respond to in a thread. Sometimes it might be the pics I like, and if I dont feel too shy I will just say hello, and why I peaked.

so, the reasons for not writing can be varied, not a personal reflection on the person at all.
