Thanks, Barb. My brother gave me some 2 by 4s for my new room project. I will have to pull a lot of nails out of them. Mom adjusted my rent for $75.00 for this month since I have to pay for two electric meter deposits. I got half the yard mowed this morning until I came in from dripping with sweat. It did not take long. I am glad I picked up the gas for the mower, yesterday. Paid mom the $75.00 for the rent, yesterday. flowerforyou

Got a check for $20.00 from A T & T for making an overpayment. Last week they sent me a bill for $20.00. The bill is still laying on the kitchen table. Dottie would be so proud of me for standing up for myself. Its the little things in life that can mean so much.happy Check stub reads for former wireless customer. I am going to spend the money but I am going to frame the check stub.

This morning I got all the old nails out of the 2 by 4's brother gave me with the hammer and nail puller. With those 2 by 4's I was able to do the other side of the rafters that are next to the house. Tomorrow I will able to to cut short pieces to mount down the middle up top between the ends of the rafters so the overhead bridge structure will be strong enough to walk on up top with the plywood laid down. I will probably put some boards between each rafter on both ends so that the rafters are stable sideways. I will probably need to get some more screws at the hardware store to finish the superstructure. The screws are just so much easier than nails and are perfect for working in just the early morning hours where the heat is still bearable.

I think so. My older sister and her old man broke up in Wyoming. He found a new woman ans she moved in. In Wyoming my sister told my mom who told me that if a new woman moves in and the man chooses the new woman then the old woman has to leave. Tom chose this new woman over my sister and my sister had to leave. My sister moved out because it is the law and she is on her own and asked mom if we had money to send to her since she spent all her money on Tom while he was sick in the hospital. Isn't that the craziest thing you ever heard?

Good morning, Jt. I have been working on the new room. It is all encased in two by fours and all I have to do structurally is just add the outside wall material and the roof decking. Then, I will have get dry wall and electrical and plumbing and fixtures. Yeah, I got a long way to go, yet.laugh waving

Marshall and me almost got the decking on the new room. I handed them up to him Friday morning. But before the last board went up he dropped his portable battery screw driver and the handle broke on it. He started to use my electric drill but it got heavy fast. I am hoping he will come over after he gets out of church, today. Going to check on aluminum roofing. Roll roofing seems to have some drawbacks and the price of shingles is so high. Those two electric deposits of $220.00 each made a big dent in my budget. I am really enjoying the cool weather this morning.

I can remember when the electric deposits were $75 a meter. Showing my age now, huh? But if you pay it for a year and are never late you get your deposits back. I am glad Arkansas is so trusting of its residents.laugh Checking out this Galvalume website. Was told they have a distribution in Gassville in what is suppose to be some flea market looking building on the right as you leave Yellville. Going to try to take a ride out there, tomorrow after Marshall and me get as much done here as possible. Was wondering why Marshall didn't come over today then his wife said he was a sleep in the back. I can't blame Marshall for taking Sunday off. Great wakeup system he has. His wife sends their young son to go wake him up. So Cole runs and takes a flying leap to Marshall's belly. It really wakes Marshall up.laugh I have nicknamed Cole; Coleslaw. He really slaughters Marshall.laugh

I went on top the roof with the screwdriver and started screwing in the decking down that Marshall started. Got a picture of me waving the screwdriver. The one where I was laying on my back feeling like Snoopy on his dog house wasn't taken. It was nice and cool up there and it was kinda cool looking at Lady under the room. I called her but I guess she couldn't figure out where I was. Was kinda nice looking up at the clouds. At one point I was trying to figure out how I was going to get down so the ladder wouldn't slip but I put the ladder next to the house so it was stable.
