"I Wonder"

I think about you every day
Always in a new and different way

I wonder how you walk
with a twist or a tilt
head held high arms swinging at your hips
slow and steady in no hurry

I wonder how you look
when you're angry or sad, glad or mad
frustrated brows knitted together in a furrow
mouth turned down in a frown
What does it take to turn it round?

I wonder how your hands will feel
clasped together with mine
tightly woven, a natural fit?
Your thumb rubbing across my palm
lightly brushing inside my wrist

I wonder about the shade of your eyes
Will they change colors
with the tides of your emotion
I imagine your stare is
inquisitive, loving and kind...

This was a fitting poem for this site. So many of us have not met the
person on the other side of the computer screen yet. It's like your on
the edge of your seat waiting wondering what he or she is like.I guess I
will have to wonder until June. Loved it.....
