Ohh I was fresh. My mom told me to apologize to my sister and I said, "You can make me say I'm sorry but you can't make me mean it"....
 I took my mom's new car to MA for a "few days" at age fifteen, I told my dad once I'd call DCF if he hit me and how would the town like its local pediatrician hitting his own child.... Damn, Waterloo I was awful. My mom often says she hopes I'll have a girl who was as smartmouthed as I was. I am glad they were great, even if I wasn't. They taught me a lot. (My parents) And, on topic, it's okay if she doesn't come. I know you want this to work and I wanted jist to work too, but I'm not going to settle to do it. You need a person who will talk to you, and doesn't a relationship include getting some of your needs met? I so hope I'm wrong... I do. |

Ha, that was what my mom used to always say to me when I was a kid and in trouble.... Okay minor trouble. If she was really peeved she'd ask me if I wanted to go to foster care. You got in trouble as a child???? I'm not sure that I believe that. I'm going to need details...

I understand the reasons behind her lack of strong communication skills. The woman has lived in a small town her entire life and there is much reticence on her part to reveal her business. Part of the bond between us are the absolute differences. We each have much to share with and learn from the other. I guess I created this thread because I needed to vent and those who are close to me will not be objective. I know who she is and what I've chosen to accept. I'll deal with it good or bad. sounds like youve gotten some good advice and I can see your friends here are good friends to you. Without really knowing all the details I cannot give you a valid opinion other than I would feel like you at this point. I agree that she should explain in truth and not excuses. Its not fair to you! If it doesnt work out then your better off now than later. I wish you luck man.. and please let us know the outcome..
OH and.... if she does make it out Id go all in
