How do you wear them? Long? Short? Do you bite them? Do you wear polis often? What colour polish?

I used to bite my nails, but I've been trying to break that habit and my nails are a good size now, which makes me happy. I always paint them black. Sometimes dark blue or red, depending on my mood.

I usually have my nails fairly short and painted a light pink or beige color (because of my job as a "professional"), but sometimes I'll paint them blue, green, red or purple if I'm off work. I usually paint my toenails funky colors.

I used to wear my nails long and painted...but I started working around food so I can't do that anymore. Now they're short and scary because I handle chemicals for cleaning.

I have acrylics over my nails, although they are all mine. I use acrylics to keep them hard otherwise they would break. I used to bite them, but for the last 15 years or so I've used acrylics on them. I LOVE red polish, and that's the color that I generally wear.

I use to go to the shop and have them done all the time. Then when I got into the nursing field..you can not have fake nails on at all. So no more fake nails for me!!

How do I wear them?

Tore up and broke!

I can not grow nails for long, everytime I
work with my hands I break a few.

I tried the fake ones and OMG break
one of those off and you think your going to die!
 So I just go all natural now.

I don't wear polish normally but will clear coat them for weddings or special occasions. I keep them short and square cause I have really long fingers.

A girlfriend and I used to have a spa day in September to treat each other for our Birthdays and the short square nails were something that a manicurist recommended for my long fingers. Long nails just make them look freakishly long! laugh It's easy to do and they don't break as much this way...so I've just always done it myself since then.

I did bite my nails as a child, but was scolded so harshly by my ballet instructor that I stopped. I think I traded it for hair twirling though. Guess it's almost as bad, but not as destructive or painful. I do not miss red swollen finger tips for sure. noway

Moderately long and wicked strong....seriously, I can cut through denim with mine. I use them all the time at work. The more I use them, the stronger they get.

I have to keep my nails very short to play the harp. So just buff them or wear a feminine pink polish......HOWEVER, I recently went for my first pedicure because I read that if you wear open toe shoes (sandals, flipflops), you should have painted toe nails, so I went with bright red. If I'm going through all that trouble, I may as well make sure they are noticed, haha.

Nope no polish or color. I keep them short but others have said they are long. Beats me. They are clean and ready to go.
