How does one overcome this in real life? Like I saw this woman at the track this morning I thought was cute, and I tried to say hi to her and stuff as she would pass, but she never really acknowledged me much. Didn't help my friend was there needling me about it lol. I plan to go back tomorrow morning to see if she's there again, but am rather nervous about approaching her, or even what to say.
I kind have an idea, like just say hi and and try and make small talk with her, but still really nervous about it. |

trip her as she runs by...that will get her attention...

i find, like a caveman, carry a big stick, smack her with it, and when she comes too, she'll wake up in your arms, and your place and she'll make your dino-dinner

Forget about feeling interested in her and just be casual.

Forget about feeling interested in her and just be casual. Easier said then done, but I will try. |

Yeah, what I intend to do is if she is there, sort of run up next to her, and say hi, ask how she is and kind of go from there.

How about trying to position yourself in a way to make mutual eye contact, then simply smile at her being glad you noticed each other.

How about trying to position yourself in a way to make mutual eye contact, then simply smile at her being glad you noticed each other. Could try that, like if she's going in one direction on the track, I could go the other way. I sort of tried that today though, when we were sitting and she'd pass by us. Didn't seem to notice much as she'd pass though, although she did look my way when I waved to her and said hello (don't think she heard that part had headphones on). |

The track huh? Don't do this...lurk in the bushes til she's arrives and then come out of nowhere when she's stretching on the bleachers to warm up next to her WAY too close for comfort and then run with her everyday whether she likes it or not! Some people use running as their only ME time. Not that that has ever happened to me.

That's EXACTLY what I'll do! That will be sure to get her to like me!

Walk up to her and say..."I seen you looking at me...me looking at you....you looking at me....me looking at you....you looking at me.....so I thought I would nut up and approach you. How are you? I am_______ (fill in the blank with your name). Do you like Sushi, cause I know of this kick ass reteraunt that serves kick ass sushi. Care to join me? My treat!"
She won't resist! |
