you can "hope" all you want, there will never be another temple built in the place of the old one in Jerusalem.

ofcourse there will not be a new temple built in the site of the old one.
The passage of the Bible you are making reference of, it's an alegorical figure used to say that the new temple will be within ourselves when the Lord makes His home inside us.
Now this only applies to christians. Ofcourse, if you are not a christian it will not make any sense at all.
Another, approach to interpret this passage is the Catholic approach which says that the new temple is the actual Church which is founded by the Lord in which He lives til the end of time.
After the Lord Jerusalem took another meaning other than the literal meaning of the geographical place.
Jerusalem become God's city which is our final destination.
Then again all this makes sense when the individual is within the christian faith.

I dont care about whether your a christian or not TLW, i'm just interested in people who take allegory and use it to prove their point as the futurist do, i'm well aware of it being allegorical. you have it right, they don't. it doesnot affect me for i am outside and dont care, but thnx for stating it as it should be stated.

strange you would say that? Jesus is the one who said it would never be a temple again? He cursed it and told all not one stone would be left standing, Then he was crucified the temple curtain tore in half another sign that the sacrificial times were forever over? The ultimate and FINAL sacrifice had been made? Why would there then be a "need" for another temple? you misunderstand what you read. Either christ is correct or your misunderstanding john.
