Israel also takes a alegorical meaning. Israel always was the people of God. After my Lord founded his Church all of us are God's people.
So whenever they talk about Israel towards the end is the Church itself.
This is a very orthodox Catholic interpretation.
Now you have to understand that whatever a Catholic says is crazyness for the fundamentalists.
I personally as a Catholic don't care too much about prophecies. I have a duty which keeps me very busy, so I don't have time to be reading the Bible with the sole purpose to find out when is the end of the world and the rapture.
I read the Bible to work out my salvation through faith in my Lord and actions which are suppose to be a reflection of His commandment of love towards God and my brothers and sisters.

This Temple that the man of sin enters it says that for his people will run to the caves and get out of the city. Now with so much hype about the Red Hiefer and the ashes and the Temple. This would be telling the Jews that Yahshua's return was eniment. They are expecting him to come as a king also. They just do not believe he came before. Then if Yahshua was comming and the Man of Sin walked into the temple they would fight him not run. Just like the Maccabbes did when they were roasted before they would leave the temple.

So if Prophecy says they run to the caves and shelter themselves and try to get away from this evil. Then a Temple of Yahweh is not thier. The Temple that sits thier now is where the Man of Sin will enter. I can quote all this and put it into scripture if u want. thnx miles you can post if you like, but you gave me mainly what i was looking for, the temple that was until AD70 was the one spoke of by john in the revalations i'm sure, not some future temple, the fact that what was written by Josephus,Eusebius, Tacitus, Sepher Yosippon, and others give evidence to this being the case, but if you have more on the last 5 yrs of the roman/judeo war of incidents that took place to fullfill the prophecy of revelations it would be interesting.
