on the bus
heading directly
to your destination
kinda
idealized
romance novel
painless
endless
sorta
love

Nope!
Sure Ain't!

sometimes
there are delays
detours
transfers
layovers
congestion
potholes
or other
rugged terrain

and perhaps
the damn driver is so drunk
he doesn't know where in hell
he is taking you
and keeps you in a never-ending circle
way off your route
until you get so desperate
you leap off the bus
into the path of an Amtrac
that gets you there fast...
