There is a big difference between someone who
is big, and beautiful, or just plain obese.

People that are morbidly obese- are in danger
of dying from their weight and having major health
problems.

I have seen some big women that were absoulutely beautiful inside and out(and men), I think what
a person is comfortable with being is what is
inportant. As long as it does not indanger hteir lives. Not all of us can be skinny-barbie
type women. JMO(just my opinion).

As a bbw my personal opinion is that I had more love inside myself than my skinny self could hold so my body expanded to make room for it all...

It’s sad how society has put a curse on what a women should or should not look like

Beauty lays deep within,,, and radiates out,,, big or small should really never
Be an issue,, unless its unhealthy ,,,

Confidence is the key word here,,, Once that is achieved,, the beauty flowsssssssssss

((( Jesastar & Voluptuous )))) you are both very beautiful women,

Hugs to you both
Mom

Thank you ma'amflowerforyou

I'm a BBW, and I haven't always been but I accept who I am, I put it in my profile and if someone isn't interested because of that then that's okay with me. Everyone is different in what they are interested in...me included. But I haven't had any problems turning heads as a big girl, I do agree that confidence is key though.

it's all about how you carry yourself and whether or not you're comfortable in your skin. I used to be a lot heavier but have since lost the weight but not quite gained the confidence yet so even as a smaller me it's difficult. I'm working on it though. But basically as was said before, it comes down to confidence! And you're both lovely flowerforyou

I don't really care what society thinks...I'm uncomfortable enough about my appearance that I don't feel it.
I don't feel sexy.
I lack that confidence.

Seriously...when people are in better shape, everything looks and feels better.
I'm not saying I want to be a twig. I actually want to stay in the double digits. I am now a size 14/16. I think a solid size 14 would make me happy.

I agree with the comment for obese women...but guess what...I fit into that category. At the gym, I am statistically considered "obese". I have about 40 pounds to loose.

I know why I am as big as I am...The loss of my husband has caused a lot of heart ache. I just stopped living and the world kept turning. Last time I dated, I was 19.
Now, I face the challenge of meeting someone that would love me and appreciate me inside and out. The thought of starting over KILLS megrumble
I literally carry my pain on my body.

For me being uncomfortable with my appearance has nothing to do with it. Yes. I would enjoy seeing a smaller me, but I would really like not having the aches and pains that go along with the over-sized me.

Well by no means should you consider being large an "excuse", that just because you're big you should have to force yourself to be comfortable with your appearance. Shoot for whatever *you* think would make you look beautiful, and when you get there, anyone who tells you otherwise can go to hell.

Case in point: f**k the gym, that's probably causing half your emotional distress right there. Exercise at home, go for walks or ride a bike. Gyms suck, sit on some gizmo staring at a wall for hours on end surrounded by people that probably don't even need to be there.

Take it from me, I know what you've been through. Us sticks got it just as bad growing up

depends on what they look like. and the personality has to be added in.
