Topic: Has Mutual Match ever worked for anyone? | |
---|---|
I don't get Mutual Match. When I look at the matches most are no where near what I am looking for.
Then when you are told someone wants to "meet" you but you havent "mutual matched" them yet you are unable to see WHO that person is... Am I doing something wrong? |

No...you can't see who wants to meet you. You just go on Mutual Match and click "No", "Maybe", or "Yes". You may get lucky and click "Maybe" or "Yes" on the person that wants to meet you...if not, then you don't have a mutual match. Yes, it does suck. I have found someone from the mutual match. I talk to him once in a while (he's a busy person). It can work...but maybe not for all members.

The system doesn't even seem to take similarites and differences into account. It seems to be based on your settings for who can email you, not anything else.

Mutual Match works just fine.
It will display people based on your selected SEARCH criteria. That is a very important aspect. It brings up people and YOU select YES, NO, MAYBE....just to show you are interested in that person. When others log in and run Mutual Match, it will bring up YOUR profile. Then they get to say YES, NO, MAYBE. If you both have said YES or MAYBE, it shows as a match. All it is doing is saying that you are both interested in each other. Why doesn't anybody understand this? It's simple and works just fine! |
