If someone pointed out to you that you had a serious fault in your personality would you be humble enough to change?

Does it really matter what someone thinks of what "flaws" your personality may have. Who are they to judge????? The only exception is if many people has told me the same thing, then it might be worth taking a look at and changing otherwise they can keep their opinions to themselves.

I actually DID finally hear myself like she heard me.
(a kind of "that's the way it works" tone which is innocent enough when trying to explain something) but finally heard how condescending I was sounding. DIDN'T LIKE IT ONE BIT so...YES |

it's as important to be open to criticism as it is to consider the source.

If you change "who you are" just to please someone else then you're not going to be happy with yourself. What do they say..."you have to love yourself B4 you can love someone else"...right? The "change(es) that you make will only be temporary and then you'll be kicking yourself in multiple body parts because of it. Anyone wanna' throw down some shekels on that one...?

If someone pointed out to you that you had a serious fault in your personality would you be humble enough to change? Only if I wasn't still having fun with that fault. |

Maybe they're the one that needs to change was always my knee jerk response 1st thing I had to change Sorry.....not that it's not a very valid possibility but you're gonna piss her off if you automatically say.."NO it's YOUR problem" Even if it is. |

people point these things out to me on a weekly basis.....i still haven't changed ...........after a few drinks they sound reasonable ....when the drinks wear off, well then so does the attitude to change.......most can kiss my white lily butt- i'm a good hearted decent person- if my family loves me and accepts me..that's all that matters

depends on what kind of change ur talking about...
its okay to change to better onesself...to try to become a better person... but not just to suit somebody elses needs. |
