Russia and China are enemies! The closest they will ever come to merging will be if they go to war. If that happens they will annihilate each other and we wont have to do anything except deflect a possible Nuke fired at us! |

if china and russia decide to merge ???????? countries, companies, governments merge for different reasons other than friendship sometimes. russia and china are no exception. they each hated america and perhaps still does, thats good enough reason, who knows? i don't. |

I dont think that is a likely scenario though!
Do You? What would be the motive? What would be advantageous for either side in such a merger? Don't you think that it would create more problems for them than strategic advantage? |

Before I turn in for the night I must say.
While I can see where China might gain a technological benefit from such a merger and Russia would gain some additional warm water ports and manpower from the merger. Their mutual disdain and mistrust of each other would in the end (IMO) work against both. I can not see it as being any real threat to the US nor to Democracy any where in the world. Quite the opposite in fact! I believe it would provide a rally for Democracy around the world! |
