Topic: Another Two McCain Flip Flops! | |
---|---|
A Republican started the thread Obama flip flops. I went there and debated them civil like and head to head! After a bit I started thinking about the hypocrisy and started posting the worse and more defined flip flops of McConfused. They avoided them like a plague! Is anyone surprised? Not me.... Come on now Fanta - you challenged someone in that thread to point out the Obama flip flops. A couple of sites were given but you always dismiss them - that is not debate. When Sam Donaldson of ABC news says that Obama changed his position on campaign financing how is that not true? I didnt dismiss them! I went, I read, I decided they werent more than Republican Rhetoric and hardly signified the flip flopping they claimed! ABC is a definite Republican biased site, but more than that what they call Flip Flopping would require a person to take a giant leap to even consider it as such! Nothing near to the 14 completely opposite positions taken by McCain that I pointed out! |

Come on guys....give the fellow a chance to screw up...Just like Obama deserves the chance......Niether one of them have screwed me over yet so, I gotta give em a chance. Do any of you actually think that they could screw up thier run as president, any more than Bush has boned us? Actually I think McCain's Flip Flops are a sure sign that he has been influenced and bought by the same NeoCons that Have used Bush as a Puppet for the last 8 years! Bush is nowhere near smart enough to manage the BS his Administration has come up with! So yeah, I think if McCain is elected we will receive more of the same boning! |

You obviously haven't lived long enough to know NOT to ask questions like that cuz guaranteed one of them will find a way. I'm betting on McCain over Obama to screw things up worse than Dubya did tho |

Not necessarily. You just havent shown what I would call a clear Flip Flop! Have you even bother to check out the 14 McConfused has comitted? Well, McCain plans on driving the burning Bush screw just bit deeper if he gets the chance. People hopefully will vote anything but McCain because we are in for a world of hurtin if he gets in office. |

In that thread,
Started by a Republican, I said Show me where there is a Flip Flop contained in the OP. No one could answer. Then you went off and started pulling up more like articles with the same unlike type of Flip Flop claims! I still went and looked and I read them! Respect deserves respect. Have you read the Crystal clear and undoubtedly McConfused Flip Flops? Or am I to just address yours on this one way street you call a debate? |

give it up crick. Don't act like Republicans never screw up.
Bush is THE ultimate flip flopping, back peddling, never admitting he's wrong screw up. As for ABC news?? I'm not American and even I can see the Republican bias in the organisation |

I read some of them and would have read all of them but hey I went out to celebrate the fourth of July. You issued the challenge to show you where Obama had flip flopped - and the links which you dismiss are as valid as yours. |

That's an even further stretch than the other!
I wont even bring up the fact that Sam Donaldson is obviously biased. Or how he says the Phrase, "broke a promise to the American people," probably ten times. While the other Commentator and Obama are saying, that what Obama initially said was, that he would, at the end of the Primaries, if he were the nominee, that he would sit down and discuss the possibility of Public financing with John McConfused! OOPs too late, I did say that! I will instead just say, that it would have tickled the Republicans senseless (like they aren't already) if after McConfused had already possibly violated National Campaign laws, concerning public financing. If Obama had chosen to accept Public financing! Do the Republicans think the man is stupid or are they just that stupid themselves? There are many factors that would have played against Obama had he chose to do so. The Democratic Primaries had taken longer to decide, but more importantly, the Democratic Party did not have near the funds available at the party level as the Republicans! These funds are not governed by the laws concerning public financing and would have placed Obama at a severe disadvantage! Also McConfused had already (first) Violated (cheated) the system and laws concerning public financing! Do you really expect anyone in America besides the Republicans (all 36%) to consider that as a serious Flip Flop, and ignore the obvious complete 360's that McConfused has taken? (FOURTEEN TIMES-at least) Really??? Now you might say Im crazy, you might even say Im blind, You might even convince yourself of that, but you can not say I ignored your question, or that I did not respond, or that I did not respond in a civil manner!! |

The other commentator said "He clearly did break a promise. He broke a pledge no doubt about it."
The truth is that Obama only supported public financing before he was a viable candidate becasue he was afraid that he wouldn't be able to raise enough money to compete with the republicans. Now he claims he did it because the system was broken. Well, didn't he know that when he strongly supported the idea of public funding? The reason this is a flip flop is because Obama portrayed himself as not a part of the Washington establishment and that he was going to change the way things were done. That is why he was able to defeat Hillary. And of course, Bill. Opting out of public funding is not fixing it. Re-posting for all to decide. http://abcnews.go.com/Video/playerIndex?id=5205874 Flipflop or not - you decide |

If McCain had already cheated the system and an investigation was called for, but the agency responsible for doing the investigation could not perform it. They had been devoid of board members under the Bush Administrations reign and were incapable of running an investigation. Therefore as Obama pointed out, "THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN!" The only ones who seem upset about Obama's wise decision to opt out of Public financing, and it is LEGAL, (he is not obligated) ARE THE REPUBLICANS, who violated the rules in the first place! Ruling-NOT GUILTY! (No Flip Flop) |
