Topic: After meeting. | |

The people that use only headshots and angles in there pics or taking a picture of a picture usually are misrepresenting themselves.
How do you lie about your appearance??? |

How do you lie about your appearance??? Where's your face? actually quite refreshing! Most have 2 or more. |

After physically meeting your online boyfriend or girlfriend, how many of you would continue the relationship after finding out the other person lied about their appearence? I think webcams help...then you know exactly who youre expecting to see. Wouldnt you want to before making a long distance trip? No surprizes. Go go nerd power! Who are you???? Really? Thats funny because I'm (insert sexy female celebrity's name whom currently is not on drugs or in rehab, or suffering from mental problems HERE)! |

so do you think I am not representing myself properly here??? Actually Gypsy41 - I was just showing my girlfriend your profile and saying how well I thought it was done. I think its not only smart to try and show your best side, it works. It's like dressing nice for an interview. I think misrepresentation on a dating site is more like when the person says they are one thing, and are not. |

No not you. Actually from personal experience. A girl came to the bar I hang at in Channelside I chatted with here. She kept bragging that people tell her she's a "hot chick" and that these guys grab her a$$ at the bar and junk like that and how tired she is of it. She had like a ton of head shot pics and some pics that looked like were taken when she was 13 LOL. When I saw her at the bar she was 5 foot 2 and over 250lbs. Thats why I agree with twilight twin on the webcam thing

This is why I require a security deposit B4 meeting someone. Not blowing anymore $ on a beast, just for the sake of "being nice"

Theres someone for everyone but playing tricks or being dishonest when meeting someone for the first time is not the way to go...

Exactly... I mean, if you meet someone and they lied about what they look like....then they would lie about everything else since they lied from square 1. Not to mention trying to rope ya' into dating outide of the human race

How do you lie about your appearance??? The question isn't "how?" it's "why?" Most of us should be comfortable enough with ourselves that we don't feel the need to lie about how we look. I mean, look at me. If I weren't comfortable with my image, would I have posted my not so perfect image? (No offense to those who don't post their image). |
