I STILL have issues about when I was 8 and holding a little froggie. He peed. I panicked. Kind of said, WHOA! and spasticly flailed my hands. Instead of just dropping him, I ended up throwing him against the brick wall. I was SO distraught and guilty. That was 32 years ago and here I am typing about it. For real? |

I have a similar incident about a kitten in a treehouse from childhood and I got a bit queasy reading your post....

thing you have ever done....... accidentally? (Mean usually has intentions, although sometimes your unintentional actions might be looked upon as... mean) I flicked a cigarette at the ice cream man, JUST NOW when I was outside. He was driving right next to the side walk, I didn't know. I was in my back yard and flicked it over the fence. I cut my ex's ear with a sizzors ON ACCIDENT when i was cutting his hair!

i feel like every one has made mistakes,,,some do mean stuff on purpose,,,,,,,maby if a pratical joke went bad ,,,,but if every one listed all th mean stuff they did,this little box wouldn't be big enough

The meanest thing I've done on accident is hit a Coyote when I was driving in Wyoming...I felt terrible. I don't consider mean things towards people, most are flawed...animals however are not.

Dang man, me and a friend went to get a pack of smokes one night, and we accidentally ran over my kitten! Poor thing jumped on his rear tire and when he turned on the car and stepped on it, we heard a BUMP! I was like "WTF WAS THAT?!" and I see my kitten flopping around all crazy trying to make his way back up the driveway. My other cat "Ghetto" (was a kitten at the time) and tried to play with him, while the mama cat was just sitting there watching him, no more than 1 ft away from him when his body just stopped moving. You could imagine the tears my friend and I shed at that moment. I buried him and then we went to the store for smokes and ended up getting beer as well. It was really F%$#ed up. |

I hit a dog with my car. I stopped to get out and check on it, but after about 2-3 seconds on the ground the dog got up and started to run towards me. I got into my car and sped away.
PS It was an American Staffordshire Terrier. |

Darn I hate to seem like such a bad guy. lol Been a long day but I have one particular mean thing that I HAD to do...but still think about from time to time.
When I was young I spent a winter holiday on my grandfathers farm in Texas. I ran a trap line for Racoons but my folks did not want me to carry my gun alone at 5am when I went out to check it. I caught a racoon in a trap by his back leg. I had a headlamp on my head to see by. I carried a big wooden stick with a piece of lead around one end (diesel tire pressure bumper I think) to kill them with since I couldnt carry the gun. Every time I shined the light on him and drew back to give him a swift clean blow to the head, he covered his eyes with both little hands. It took me a few false starts to finally finish the job. Some of my friends laugh at this (This IS Louisiana) but it affected me. I don't hunt anymore, sure don't trap and save as many animals as I can to this day. I've had to other highly distasteful things as well but will spare you all the details...especially the horse one. |

WOW FTB!
I suppose we need to cut ourselves a break for our youth and not having a completely evolved value system. That reminded me of that scene in the movie "Powder" where Powder is the empathetic link between the hunter and the dying deer. |

Oh..and my little frog just a few weeks ago. Little frog living in a small planter pot on my front porch. Ate bugs coming to the porch light. Been there since summer started. I put a little saucer of water out there so he would'nt have to go far to wash em down. When I open the door, I SWEAR he would come out from there and look at me. Like visiting with me. He sure wasn't scared of me.
Light burned out. I walk outside one night and...yep....squish. Stepped right on him. Barefoot at that. Theres another out there now but I moved the planter pot over into the hedges so I won't inadvertantly kill him too. And I got a long life bulb. |

hmmmmm i think the meanest thing i've ever done was nearly slit my ex fiancee's throat......i don't remember doing it....
but yet there's a good reason i snapped like that.....he tried to kick me out of the house and told me my daughter had to stay with him after we had it out about him coming home drunk and comparing me to his ex-wife. AND NO he's NOT her father...... |
