Topic: When do you feel most lonely?

I have a fairly busy and rewarding life with my job and volunteer work, so most of the time I do not feel lonely. Perhaps around the holidays when I miss getting together with friends and family, the way it was when I was married and my folks were living and sometimes crawling into a bed alone every night gets to me.

I feel the loneliest at night when I go to bed.. that's why I stay up way too late prolonging the misery of going to bed... If you enjoyed the agony then that is classed as Masochism Also Dr. Sigmund Freud

I feel most lonely when I am alone..... Does that make sense? I am never alone but lonely often go figure

i get lonely at the sight of a happy couple. but get over it when i see a couple fighting!! man i wish i was a pillow oopppps thinking out loud again!!!!!!!

I feel most lonely in a crowded room with no-one talking to me That one for me too... On the occasion when I drink (really bad idea with the bi-polar) and the alcohol starts to wear off... On the occasion when I see a couple making out (get a room! ) But most commonly between the hours of midnight and 4 am.

I feel most lonely in a crowded room with no-one talking to me, my friends on here leaving one at a time. Yes, then and also in a crowded room with friends around me and by myself though not as much.

When I see my friends have kids or are celebrating their 8 year Anniversary..It is odd...I am not sure if I want kids...but it makes me lonely to know they have moved on and started families on their own...
