I'm a manager at a consulting firm. Best job so far is being a mother.

Besides being a mom..............

I would have to say when I was manager of 2 homes for mentally challenged adults. I got to open, and start up one of them. Money was fantastic!!! But the rewards of seeing these grown men finally getting a place to call thier own, was something you'd have to experience to appreciate.

Mother, sister, aunt and friend.

I work in customer care.

Career wise. High paying librarian position. But I lost staff due to budget cuts and client base increased, work demands increased, and I was having to do the work of the two people that were cut. After three years of this, I pretty much made and ulimatum. I need help or I'm gone. Well, I'm making 10 $ an hour now doing clerical work.

By the way, they never replaced me. The just assigned an officer to do only half the work I was going. If they would have let me cut out that much, it wouldn't have been a problem! Grumble, grumble, grumble.....
