Just talk to him, if not it is going to bother you all of the time, and the best relationships have alot of communication.

I hope that it all works out.flowerforyou

lol i just made an "appointment" with him for tomorrow night, so hopefully I can man up and say what I need to say. I'm going to have to so I can either feel better, or just move on and hopefully find someone else to get to know. happy

That's what the problem is. I want to sit down and talk to him face to face, but it's so hard to get any time with him. I only see him like once every couple weeks anymore. I don't want to talk to him about all this over the phone or on chat or anything, you know?

sounds like its over....best to move on.

Ya not having time for you can be a deal breaker. I mean 5 kids and his job and school? geesh .. maybe he's just too busy to BE in a relationship.

I won't date a guy who doesn't have time for me.

I need the interaction .. period.

I have EXACTLY the same problem that you do. I constantly over-analyze things and start getting nervous and worried. I started feeling some distance from my boyfriend of almost 8 months. We began having sex less, the texting several times a day every day and long conversations that lasted hours at a time started slowing down, we didn't see each other as often during the week... Instead of talking I got worried and anxious until I got to the point where I literally started crying.

I'll tell you to do what worked for me--talk to him. I told him how I was feeling and what I was worried about... not in an accusatory or needy way, just as honest and straight-forward as I could be. It was fantastic! I found out he had some of the same insecurities as me, and a lot of it was based on his last relationship. He was worried that things were just so good they couldn't continue and rather than getting hurt when I pulled away (like he was sure I would do), he thought he would be the one to "slow things down" to feel more in control.

Once we talked, we realized a lot of our fears were unfounded and not really base on the reality of our relationship. Talking to him is the only way to figure out what the reality is for you.

So, am I making excuses for him, thinking about how busy he is? Or am I just worrying too much? Because my gut feeling is that something's wrong. Do I trust my gut? How do I approach the subject without being confrontational or *****y or sounding selfish?

Stalk him!

Seriously, the fact that you're even asking these questions probably means it's time to move on. He's probably playing in someone else corn field...
