We are a rare breed. I hear so many stories about a-hole guys.. even on first dates. I just don't get it. I've never been that way. But it seems many women prefer those types, even though most won't admit it. I don't understand that either.

I've seen and heard this topic many times, it's sad. a lot of women go with the bad guys and assholes because their more interesting, women want to fix things and there's also a supposed innate survival instinct where the assholes will presumably be able to protect them more than the good guys or "nice" guys.another thing that might be relevant is that the long unfortunate history of sexism has imbeded in some women a self deprecating nature where they feel that they are to blame for abuse or that abuse is supposed to be accepted. it's mostly societal pressure and influence but it might also be genetic depending on the woman. There is hope though as women become more aware, self assertive, and stronger against societal pressure and hardships.

honestly, you have to weed through the bad ones to know yourself better and to know what you want , but most importantly what you don't want. My advice is to remeber what you don't want and don't accept it... go for the guy you wouldn't normally go for... and sooner or later something with blossom.

Yeah but you ladies got to understand that because You all sometimes wanna look like a hoochie but not be one, is different from a guy who wants to be like a bad ass and not be one. Because a guy will be and dress the part. Men = usually direct, Women = usually you gotta guess (from a guy's perspective).

there are still decent guys around, infact there are a lot of decent guys around. girls are just wayyy....too picky. don't deny it! its true, girls are just too picky, not all of them but a lot of them are. and i'm gonna go with random_strangers theory of a guy's perspective. some girls just gotta have patient and give a man a chance.

I know that I am picky. I will never deny that. But it is not like guys are not picky either. I can say that I am quilty of the "just look at the picture" part of dating websites. I do not do it all the time, but sometimes it is only fair to me. I do not just pass up the guys that 'look' not so attractive to me, but I have passed up guys that 'look' way too good looking for me. I know what I look like. I am not a skinny little petite thing so reality tells me I am not going to get some hot(in societies view) guy. This is the way I see it, I will not settle for just anyone. I want THE one. I really believe that there has to be that initial spark when you look at someone. Yeah, I just realized that I rambled but you know what I have to say about that....'SUCK IT'(someone will get that)

In any case, usually the good guys are the ones who don't really make themselves know, like how the rude ones are like the life of the party most of the time and are jerks in the background. I've met a few of the jerk kinds and I nearly killed them because they were abusing some of my friends who were their (now former) girlfriends. I really dislike their attitude because I think that anyone who treats someone so horribily should be castrated...
