How is that sad? It's sad because there is so much more to life to enjoy. There are so many things to see and do. It's called loving life.  There are friends to love more than pot. When you're older, there's your future family to love more than pot. so, if you were to have a glass of beer or a cocktail...  or even a six pack... something of which i don't do and never have done... would you consider yourself loving  your booze more than your family ??? i know people who drink and smoke in moderation,  and it doesn't come before their families,  there are very prominant people who smoke weed, and you would never ever know it it goes both ways, you know... Rapunzel, He had said this, "The only person I love other than family is Mary Jane". I thought that was sad and he asked why. You are replying to my answer. Aww...I am just explaining how i feel. i hope i didn't hurt your feelings...  that wasn't my intention... No, no hurt feelings. I just thought that it was sad to only have love for family and pot. There are so many other things in life to care about too. well, I 'm not sure who are referring to there... that doesn't apply to me in any way... i have lots of heart & consideration for others... Hmmm...I thought that we were talking about the OP and how he loved only his family and Mary Jane. Oh, well.

When I was growing up I was taken from my family and put with another because of smoking pot and I look back on it from time to time and wonder what I would be like if I didn't have started. Would I have turned out to be some big shot or some pencil jocky maybe but I chose to smoke and nothing back has come to me so I think I'm safe.

Any drug is evil when it causes a person not to be able to stay awake most of the day, keep a job, pay their bills, rent, or feed themselves. When it causes them to lose control of bodily functions, create more gaps in their brain than grey matter, lose their teeth, increase their chances of catching HIV/AIDS and HCV. When it causes them to steal, cut themselves off from friends and family, neglect and/or abuse their children, prostitute themselves, run up debt, or harm others. Any drug is evil when it wipes years from your memory and causes you to miss important milestones in your life and the lives of your family. When it wipes out your bank account, lands you in jail, and causes you to become stupid, delusional, and paranoid. Causes you to lose control of yourself and life....We can go on and on....but I think you get the point.

Causes you to lose control of yourself and life....We can go on and on....but I think you get the point. this isn't a thread about crank or heroin or other heavy duty stuff for heaven's sake maybe some people go off the deep end,  but it is only the ones who are irresponsible, who have no self control & who do all kinds of nasty drugs all the time, including alcohol i have seen so many more people spiral so far downward from alcohol than it cannot even be compared to mellow weed and if the laws weren't so corrupt, it would not be so expensive ... and no one can ever change my mind about that , i am only here for a quick flash and i am not here for debate either < btw > so if anyone has anything to say contrary to this please tell someone else ~ or tell it to your pillow... if you must be so critical , cause i am not interested and i won't be here to listen |

I am not really a pot smoker, but I have used it for medicinal purposes. Now to justify this, I will inform you that even though being high can be fun, and make food really tastey, I only smoke at night when I am not going to be driving anywhere or doing anything important. The doctors will not prescribe me the little magic pills I need when I deal with those troublesome times (usually once a season I get them and they last about a week, if I can help it). So I just buy half an ounce and it usually can last a whole month if only smoked a night and when needed. After that, I am good for another 6 months to a year or longer.
What it does for me is the next morning when I wake, I feel completely fine, like I have a clean slate in life. So it isn't so much the "being high" feeling that helps me, it is the next day after effect. |
