I speak English well. I have good grammatical skills. I can string words to make complete sentences/thoughts. Thought I expressed myself well. Yet I find that I am frequently misunderstood. I dont take things personally especially things online, I try and bring humor to the forums (granted not the best comedian), I do learn from some of the postings of fellow members. I can go on and on but I wont - ok stepping off my soap box... just venting thanks for listening  guess I just need a hug

Fran, just keep in mind what you are dealing with here. The pool consists of people that range from highly intelligent to barely literate. I completely enjoy the amount of ignorance people have...... The amount of people on here uncapable of using words with more than 2 syllables.......
We as a nation have become ignorant........ No child left behind........ hmmmmmm.......

I 'get ya' .. but to be honest it did take a while. I think we are both on the same intellectual level, but becuz our perspectives are so opposite  that was the glitch.

I have the same problem with my sarcastic wit .It's a defense mechanism.When I'm nervous the one liners really fly.I make sarcastic observations in public and embarrass my kids. I make jokes at funerals because I am uncomfortable around dead people. My mouth moves before my brain can say "stop you fool". |

I have the same problem with my sarcastic wit .It's a defense mechanism.When I'm nervous the one liners really fly.I make sarcastic observations in public and embarrass my kids. I make jokes at funerals because I am uncomfortable around dead people. My mouth moves before my brain can say "stop you fool". awwww cute I suffer from the same malady but I dont let it out my mouth, but normally take one look at me and there is this smile on my face and a gleam in my eyes. Good thing people cant read my mind, now that would be something.
