The one down the center! Actually, the line between those are how you present yourself...are you stuck up and only think your the only one in the room that matters or are you confident enough in yourself to let the light shine on another in the room?

"Cocky" has a bit of arrogance attached to it... you can be confident and humble at the same time...

confident = delusions of grandeur. you're not that good, but you think you are. cocky = you ARE that good, and insecure people hate you for it.

Confidence is when you know your good at something. Cocky is when you think your better then everyone else because of it. Best example. I was hanging out with some friends, and there was this guy going on and on about how he could kick everyone's ass because he new brazilian ju-jitsu and tae kwan do. Thats cocky. He asked to spar someone. I thought it would be fun, so i agreed. he didnt do very well. we went back to our friends and they found out i've studied varius stuff for the majority of my life. He then said i was better then him. Thing is, i never felt better then him. It's just something i happen to be good at. I think the line is drawn when they feel they need to prove it.

Interesting is when people perceive you as confident, when you don't feel it yourself.
