Topic: Doesnt Play "Games"? Really?

I read profile after profile, NO "GAMES", I DONT PLAY "GAMES", or a number of other messages that state they dont like "Games".

What is the definition of "Games"?

Is "acting" like you really arent that into someone or "acting" like you are always busy considered a "Game"?

I read a quote once that said" The one who loves the more is inferior and therefore must suffer." I have a book titled The most brilliant thoughts in 2 lines or less.

There has to be some truth to that. If a guy or girl lets on their true feelings too early, or too often they run the risk of coming off as desperate or clingy and get rejected.

So in essence "playing hard to get" seems like a necessary "Game"

Would you agree?

Usually playing games is when someone say's for example "yea I really wanna meet you but not tonight...maybe tomorrow" then when tomorrow comes its the same thing, but all the while they are asuring you that everything is cool. It can also be jealousy, or jus plain kids type of relationship....I dunno kinda hard to explain now that I think of it laugh

Nah!!! I have no issue with bleeding my heart out. They can take it or leave it. It'll hurt and it'll pass.

Have never played games like that .. I'm who I am. Deal with it smokin

That's why people end up hating dating. They follow the 'rules' some other person created.

Be YOU. Try it. It works

Sometimes? When is this "sometimes" supposed to happen?

In "As Good As It Gets" a woman asked Jack Nicholsons character "How do you write women so well?"

His reply "When I think of a woman I think of a man and I remove Reason and Accountability"

Is that "sometimes" too?

Boy did I step in it huh? That not what I was implying. All I was saying was that some of the reasons you mentioned did hold true for some people.

I believe this are not really the type of games they mean !! I could be wrong, but I believe there is many games of the mind and the big one in manipulation and flirtation...

playing hard to get is a normality !!

I'll get crap for this but...

I think what most girls are saying is that they want to know where they stand all the time so that they don't get hurt at all, or hurt the least. No one likes being strung along, ignored, pushed to the side, treated as a backup plan or worse. Rarely do the girls realize that they arn't allowed to play games either. Usually means the guy gets hurt, and the girl doesn't, because telling him where she is at, might change things and end up hurting her.

I don't think telling a girl how you feel has anything to do with a game though. Thats being completely open and honest. It's also something not many people can do, let alone actually accomplish, and it usually takes alot of trust and time. It's also one of the coolest things if you can actually keep it up.

Im just saying your answer,
"Sometimes", sounded like a politician.
A bunch of nothing.

Why the tears? Cheer up kid, You still have a shot to be the first woman President.

It seems as though everyone has a different opinion on what these "games" are.

"games" is defined differently by different people.

Why just put in your profile No games, why not be clear and definitive on what you are saying? Be upfront about what you are talking about?

I bet over half of the "No Gamers" actually wouldnt know what to do in a relationship if there wasnt some sort of drama!
It is either a front or just something they are saying to act like they are so innocent.

Show me a woman that doesnt play hard to get on some level and I will show you a cadaver!

Ronnie, Rush is an extremely lovely young lady! We adore her here and she is certainly not a Kid. She is a vibrant and intelligent woman for sure! I'm assuming you meant no offense by it...just letting you know how much we do value our dear Rush. flowerforyou

As to your question...I think that games are relative to each individual. From my perspective, there are men who believe a woman is playing games if she likes to take things slowly and get to know a man before she is willing to admit to emotions. Sometimes it is just cautionary discretion and not a game to her at all. flowerforyou

So guyguy are you saying that"acting" like you are busy all the time and "acting" like you arent really that into someone are necessary "Games?"

Intereseting how saying "No Games" really is the lamest of all lame lines.

By the way ladies, Feel free to fall in my lap whenever you want, beautiful women. I would rather have the "fun" of you being all about me then the "fun" of the "Games" ANYDAY!
